Dear Colleagues and Professionals,
We are pleased to invite you to an expert roundtable discussion on how groups experience and respond to feelings of powerlessness in an unstable world. As psychologists, therapists, and facilitators working with communities, organizations, and social movements, your insights are invaluable.
The loss of control in a challenging world is a common experience, particularly from a group or collective perspective. Whether in communities, workplaces, or societies, external pressures—such as economic instability, political upheaval, climate crises, or rapid technological change—can make people feel powerless. This event offers a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, tools, and experiences on helping groups navigate instability. We look forward to your participation.

How groups process collective anxiety and uncertainty
-
Mechanisms of control (authoritarianism, scapegoating, solidarity)
-
Strategies to foster resilience in communities and organizations
